The new Education Engagement Hub @ Neighborhood House offers programming during school hours to help middle and high school-age students focus on academics while managing challenges that lead to absences, suspensions, or leaving school before graduating. Programming includes life skills workshops, homework help, individual goal setting, and hands-on projects that develop academic, reading, and teamwork skills.

Individual Education Advocacy

Focusing on school can be challenging for many reasons. Education Advocates help learners identify  goals and navigate a path to graduation that works for them.

Academic & Literacy Support

Learners work on homework, develop new study skills, and receive one-on-one support to make up missed assignments and get on track to graduation. 

Social-Emotional & Mental Wellness

In workshops and small group discussions, learners develop skills that help them manage the stresses of school and common challenges teens face.
